Full Time opportunity available
- Monday to Friday roster
- 32hrs per week working from 6am to 12:30pm
- Take charge of the Taylors linen depot at Rotorua hospital.
Taylors is part of Linen Services, the largest textiles management and laundry operator in Australasia. Our Linen Laundry manages the textile and laundry requirements of customers in the healthcare, accommodation, hospitality and Industrial workwear sectors.
As a Linen Coordinator Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that all required linen is delivered to the required wards in Rotorua Hospital through managing the workflow between yourself and your team member. Your role is key to ensure that that the Rotorua hospital can care of the sick and injured in all their wards.
Duties
As a Linen Coordinator Team Leader, you will ensure that your small team delivers the required linen throughout the hospital to the various linen cupboards and wards.
This will involve (but not be limited to) completing duties such as:
- Management of task assignment to yourself and your team member
- Completion of any required reporting
- Carrying linen bundles to fill trolleys or shelves
- Using trolleys to transport stock throughout the hospital
- Using the Taylors small truck to deliver trolleys to the hospital buildings
- Visually checking product for quality
- Counting bundled linen into linen cupboards to match orders
- Completing manual and computer picking dockets
- Following safe work procedures
- Counting the stock in the linen room at end of shift to place orders from stock with laundry
- Customer service and interactions and Charge Nurses and similar
- Manage any customer queries or concerns and escalate when required
Skills / experience
- Previous Team Leader type experience required
- Good Fitness Level with the ability to lift 5kg – 15kg repetitively
- Full New Zealand Drivers License
- Can do attitude

- Able to work alone and take initiative
- Take ownership and responsibility for ensuring that all required tasks are done and completed to a high standard
