PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR                                          

We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our talented team in Nelson. As the Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our laundry production activities.

Your leadership will ensure that our services consistently meet and exceed customer expectations while adhering to budget constraints.

Taylors Auckland is part of Linen Services the largest textiles management and laundry operator in Australasia. Our Linen Laundry manages the textile and laundry requirements of customers in the healthcare, accommodation, hospitality and Industrial workwear sectors.

Your Role as Production Supervisor

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll supervise day-to-day production activities, manage employee schedules, and liaise with other teams to meet customer needs, all while keeping an eye on productivity and quality.

As a key player in our operations, you will:

  • Welcome new staff with engaging inductions that cover health and safety, quality management, and more.
  • Oversee the production areas, ensuring operating procedures are followed and suggesting improvements when needed.
  • Monitor productivity and quality, aiming to exceed our targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Who We're Looking For

We seek a proactive and passionate individual with a flair for leadership and operational efficiency.

  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a knack for managing multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills to help keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Year 10 literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Proven experience in managing teams with excellent people skills.
  • Practical laundry experience
