Junior Maintenance Worker (Point Chevalier) - Fixed Term
We are looking for a motivated individual who is a focused problem solver to join the team supporting our Auckland plant.
As a Junior Maintenance Worker at Taylors Laundries, you are responsible for assisting the team with the cleaning of lint on fixed plant and machinery, other areas of the plant including repairs and cleaning.

The Role – Fixed term
This is a Fixed Term Contracted role for 3 months to cover a leave of absence. You should be an individual that enjoys working inside and outside and with your hands. Not afraid to get stuck in and pride yourself on maintaining a clean and tidy production floor and workspace.
In this role you will never be bored with something always needing to be done! You’ll need a good level of fitness, be able to self-manage and be able to be on your feet all day. If you have a forklift license and LOTO training that would be an advantage but is not essential.
Duties – Not limited to
- Assisting in the maintenance and cleaning of fixed plant and equipment,
- Assisting with inwards goods movements through Forklift operation,
- General maintenance tasks,
- Cleaning,
- Labour intensive work (lifting, bending),
- Following safe work procedures
Skills/ experience
- Can do attitude
- Willingness to be part of our safety culture
- Good Fitness Level with the ability to lift 5kg – 15kg repetitively
- Flexibility with weekly shifts
- Team player comfortable working in a multicultural workforce
- Ability to read and understand instructions and apply the information to your work
